Meaningless Titles



In taking on a small challenge to see how easily I could become an amazon bestseller in a category, I became #2 in my category with four sales–three of which were me. This could mean many things, but the glaringly obvious one is that most books on amazon sell remarkably few copies. I believe this phenomenon is common in other fields, as it roughly follows the Pareto principle–stating that 80% of the results come from 20% of the work. My 20% was hitting publish and telling one other person. What’s your 20%?
