Lessons of Struggle

There’s plenty of memorable quotes about growing as a person, for example “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” These are fantastic to a point. Like nearly everything I’ve plotted here, there’s a sweet spot. I might agree that leading a cushy and nonchalant life doesn’t lead to much self-realization and that the struggle can put one there, I might argue that too much struggle could be just as a bad. I believe the reason adversity has this positive effect is because we’re pushed to thrive in the situation. However too much adversity just a beating with no chance for thriving or growth. Even when the work is hard, you still need to set yourself up for success.
